Out of our concern for others, we readily accept the Lord's commission as one of our
most important tasks in this life. Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples
of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I commanded you..." (Matthew 28:19-20a). As a
group of His people, the Woodinville congregation annually develops and commits to
incremental, key goals for our strategy to accomplish the Lord's commission.
- Expect every member to engage in daily Bible reading.
- Expect every member to engage in daily prayer with a focus on asking God's help in using open doors to reach the lost with His good news.
- Offer every member an opportunity to assess and apply their unique talents and skills in the Lord's work.
- Encourage every member to attend our mid-week Bible study classes, a home-based small group Bible study, or a fellowship group.
- Increase fellowship activities in each other's homes.
- Expand efforts to visit new members, visitors, and all in need of attention and prayer.
- Increase use of the building for fellowship, teaching, Bible studies, and special topic studies, etc.
- Develop a firm schedule and build enthusiasm for new building program
- Encourage and support strong marriages/families.
- Engage our young people in Godly pursuits and update their Bible study curriculum.
