We, the teachers of the two and three year old class, have very ambitious goals for your children. We have
begun with learning classroom behavior. This process is with us always. We will be learning how to stay in our seats and how
to follow simple directions and rules. This usually takes almost two years, but it really is fun! We want learning to be fun,
even in the midst of those messes and clutter they make in the process.

The teaching team started this year by designing our own curriculum. Beginning with creation. Most of our kids know the
days of creation and what God made. More importantly, we want them to know how wonderful their God is and how much
He loves them. Our God can, and does, do anything. We will be moving through the class quarters by focusing on Bible people
who were afraid but did great deeds with God's help. We want the kids to know that being afraid is okay and that God is the
answer to their fear. We will take a quarter to learn about children who served God. We will learn that we are never too
young to serve God. We will spend another quarter watching Jesus grow from infancy to adulthood. From these lessons,
we will learn that Jesus grew just like we all grow. This is to show that we are to grow to be like Him. We will spend
another quarter talking about what is "real" and what is "pretend". We want the children to learn that
the Bible is real, that all the stories and people of the Bible are real and not make-believe and to understand the difference
between make-believe stories and characters and those characters and stories of the Bible.

This is only a portion of what we intend to teach in class, but it hopefully gives you an idea of our plan. We strive to
love, hug, kiss, and make a fun mess and learn! The teachers are very passionate about teaching and especially teaching
this age group. So talk to any of us anytime. We'd love to share what we do and have you join the team!
